The challenge
A rare timepiece, defined by its warm rose gold tones and unique materials, deserved more than a traditional product reveal. We chose to recreate it entirely in 3D, not for convenience, but to craft a world around it.
A space where form, light, and texture could unfold slowly. Where mystery builds before the details emerge.
Every movement, every glint, carefully controlled to echo the quiet luxury that defines Arcturus.
The outcome
We meticulously recreated the entire watch in 3D, including the development of custom materials to match the real-life model with precision. The animation reveals the watch in a subtle, enigmatic manner, enhancing its allure. In addition to the video, we produced high-resolution stills to complement the campaign. The final film is being used for the product launch and serves as the hero content on Arcturus’ official website.
To accurately replicate the unique watch faces of the original timepiece, we manually recreated two distinct materials. The first is Red Aventurine, based on the real gemstone known for its deep red hue and subtle shimmer. The second is a Green Raw Meteorite Texture, faithfully modeled after the raw, extraterrestrial surface of the original material. Both were custom-built from scratch to match the physical watch as closely as possible.
